Kingdom Keepers
Hello! Sorry I haven't written in sooo long! I just read this incredible book called Kingdom Keepers! This book takes place in the magical world of Disneyland. Five teens are chosen as models for a new program called DHI. DHI stands for Disney Host Interactive and Daylight Hologram Imaging. DHI's are holograms of children that guide people around the park. Finn Whitman, an ordinary Orlando teenager was one of the chosen models for the program. When the five teenagers are asleep, they go into the world of Disneyland as their DHI holograms where they are met by Wayne, an Imagineer (one of the people who thought up the DHI program). Wayne talks about an attack from some of the Disney characters called Overtakers. Every parent in the city asks why the "Its A Small World" ride was damaged by "vandals"? That was Finn and one of the other hosts trying to escape the dolls from attacking them! The real reason Disney invented the DHIs was that the holograms were the only way Disney could find information about the Overtakers (as they are invisible to normal people). The funny thing is that when the kids wake up the injuries from their "dreams" are real!
Ridley Pearson is the co-author for the Peter and the Starcatchers series and this magical book. So plop down on your couch and start reading!

The Lightning Thief
This book is about a boy named Percy who lives in the city with his mother. He has a friend that walks a bit strange. At first, Percy thinks his friend has a foot problem but actually... Percy finds out that his friend is not human when his mother sends him to a special camp. The camp is led by a mean camp director who can't eat or drink. Why? Because his camp director is a god who was banished to a Earth camp to live the life of a human that can't eat or drink. A lot to take in, huh? This special camp is actually designed for "special kids" whose parent or parents are gods. Percy's mother tries to hide the fact that monsters are after Percy because he is a Demigod (the son of a god). At a campfire Percy finds out he is the son of the God Poseidon. Poseidon is one of the great three. Zeus is the God of the Heavens, Poseidon the Sea God, and Hades, the er um uh, Underground God :) . The three great gods usually keep to themselves and don't fight but when they do things get messy. Percy joins a quest to stop the gods from fighting. In this book Percy escapes monsters and dives into mayhem to try to stop the three gods from fighting.
Rick Riordan has written The Lightning Thief, The Sea of Monsters, The Titan's Curse, and The Battle of the Labyrinth. I have been trying to get The Battle of the Labyrinth from the library but I am about 127th in line! I really love these books and you will too if you read them! Have fun!

In this thrilling story Susan, Charles, and Murray are normal kids living in New York. Pendragon Series
The Pendragon Series is about a boy called Bobby Pendragon. He is a traveler and I'm not talking about Travelocity. This boy goes on adventures in tunnels called flumes. Our Earth is called Second Earth. When he goes into a flume he shouts the name of the place (a territory) and experiences space and time passing by. In the first book, he goes to a territory called Denduron. He has to save each territory from a person called Saint Dane a traveler demon who can shift shape. In each territory, there are turning points or weaknesses. Saint Dane zeros in on those weaknesses and makes them worse until chaos breaks out. Once the territory has collapsed, Saint Dane rebuilds those territories and rules them. Creepy huh! It is up to Bobby to stop him. There is much more complicated action that I can't explain! Figure out the secret of Acoclyes, Quigs, and the exciting future of Earth! Dive into a Pendragon book!
